Here is the deal: looking to get the FR500 seats done in my GT. A friend said he would buy my leather GT seats and give me the cloth ones out of his 2000 V6. Are the seat frames and such the same in these two cars?

Basicly if I get his cloth seats and take them to CST, will they be the same in the long run as if I just had them do my gt seats?
Does anyone have the part numbers for the Gt and V6 seat frames?

thanks all...
-Rob

Well, besides the fact that GT seats are 6 way adjustable, I guess they are the same. The frame and rail system is definitely identical, I can't see Ford having different designs for the V6 and the GT. Many parts are shared between the two models.
