There are several 6cyl sn95s on the local CL for $500 or less, is it worth buying one to do a 5 lug conversion? Can you swap the entire rear end, and front end, or piece meal it and still have to buy conversion parts?

Yes the V6 had a 7.5 rear end. You can use the front spindles, brakes, but for $500 I think you could find the parts cheaper by themselves. Plus when buying a whole car you would have to deal with getting rid of once the front stuff was removed. I also don't care much for the 95 front brakes, but with the 94/95 front spindles you can upgrade the brakes.

You could use the axles and the brakes off the rear of a 94/95 v6 rear. Also, the master cylinder, brake booster, e brake mechanisms, proportioning valve, front brakes ( calipers, rotors ), and spindles. The wheels may stick out a little on the back of a fox but they will work. The front seats could be used. If its a 5 speed the trans could be used ( the input shaft and bell housing need to change ).

Most of the parts could be used, but you're going to need to take parts from several different cars. But if you were to buy a complete car for $500, target a 94-95 model.

You'll want the 94-95 spidnles, the booster (usually junk though) and the MC. The rear brakes are the same as the v8 but on a 7.5" rear. You can swap the brakes to your rear.
