Help me think this one through. If I had a gauge cluster from a v6 (120 mph speedo) and put V8 white face gauges on it (150mph speedo) would this work?
Never done that before, but yes if you then install the cluster in a GT. The computer is in charge of the gauges, it doesn't care what the markings are.
No, speedo is electronic. No sure if all the gauges are ran by the computer. I'm pretty sure the speedo is direct from the VSS, therefore, it would be way off if you use a different gauge face.
