v6 swap

At this point this isnt worth doing at all. The v6 isnt worth anything and you can get a 99+ GT really cheaply. It would be cheaper and A LOT EASIER to sell it and buy a real GT.

I wouldnt want a butchered v6 instead of a GT anyway... Youll still need to upgrade a load of other stuff before you have the GT equivalent, and the car will be still be worth nothing when you are done.

Before you jump to the conclusion as to what you think he's going to do with it maybe first ask what his overall plan is. Sure if you buy a V6 car and install a GT engine and upgrade it piece by piece to make a GT with plans to sell the car then it's not worth the effort. However if he's building a street/strip or drag only car with no plans on selling it then it's the smartest thing he could do.

I paid $600 for a 95 V6 car and have sold off parts I don't need and have already recouped the $600 investment so basically I have a free car right now. You can pick up much nicer ones than I bought for $1000-1200 with perfect paint and interior. The find yourself a doner GT and for another $1k or less you can have a pretty nice car. I've looked and you aren't finding many 99+ GT's for under $2k.

As for parts you need engine, rear, trans, driveshaft, brake and hydroboost from a 99. Not sure on the specifics for wiring. Other than the main engine harness.

right

as Mustang92 said learn what im doing first. on of thisis just a daily driver. it has 300k miles on it and i purchased a 96 complete gt ith t-45 and engine harness for 700 bucks and am only spapping in becuase my engine is about to fully go out. im not trying to do nay performance because i also have a 95 that was my car in highschool and now has a 460BB stroked and charged which is my play toy. im only putting in a 4.6 because i got the setup at a great price. it has low miles and its my daily driver. and cheaper than rebuilding/build a v6.
