V8 Swap Harness Questions

Ok so I got the 93 LX. My current plans were to swap the engine in and convert to MAF while I was there using my 87 engine harness. I do have some slight confusion here. The 93 has airbags, now the question is the dash harness is going to be different from my 87 to the 93 due to the airbags which I think it will be? Also if that is the case then will I be able to use my 87 engine harness and just convert over to MAF or am I going to have to purchase a 90-93 engine harness? I have read all over at different swap articles. If the airbag harness is separate from the engine harness in the loom then I could probably just separate the two and make it work? I would like to make the airbag work though as everything is there for it to right now. Any help on clarifying would be appreciated.

Why exactly are you not using the original harness from the 93?

I think I'm missing something in the explanation.

I have a 93 4cyl car and a 87 GT with the 5.0. The harnesses are different under the dash on the 93 due to airbag. The engine harnees is different from the 87 to the 93, the dash harness is also different. If I didnt wanna use the airbag is there anything else different in the harness that I need to know about.
