Vaccum leak

ahh soo I thought my car was idiling crappy becasue of my MASS and then I heard a wistling noise I have a vaccum leak on my upper intake agian for the third time I have a BBK SSI series intake....So the first time I used a gasket and RTV... second time just RTV,.. then this time my friend told me dont use RTV just use the gasket soo I did and... Vaccum leak agian *%##$% what should I do to seal this thing???

are you runing a spacer on your intake or just a gasket

hmmm so i changed my intake gasket agian and... it still leaks Im thinking that its warped v_v ow well gues i'l be getting that fixed next week

I also have random idle and a whistle noise!!

I only have a gasket between my upper and lower intake. Do you guys use a sealer too?

I have the Systemax II intake. It never used to do it, but all of a sudden now I get this whistle now and high to low revs at idle, and I cant find the leak anywhere!!

well I used a gasket and rtv and then just rtv then just a gasket and then yesterday a new gasket with sealer nothing worked for me ... it should seal with just a gasket though... so im assuming mine is warped I'm going to get it machined...yeah it was a whistling sound too and random idle I just set mine at 1000 and it runs ok ... I think my intake got to hott when i bypassed my heater core it wasnt getting enough flow.. I changed the heater core now though but I was a bit too late.. live and learn
