I have a 65 Mustang with a 289 and Motorcraft 2 barrel. I need a new vacuum advance line from the distributor to the carb but all the ones I see available have a threaded connection at both ends. Can I just cut the line that goes in the carb port and use a rubber hose to push on to the port since it is the only thing that will fit. Thanks so very much.
