so, my town car with a 5.0 caught fire recently... lost all vacuum lines, and i have been unable to find the vacuum diagrams, so i have been testing much the last week, and found something interesting of note... i have used a connector to connector line on my fuel pressure regulator,( about 3" vacuum hose, distance to the vacuum source ) and experienced huge throttle response gains. i have tested this setup during freeway conditions, and with cruise on, and have found that there were no mpg losses due to this mod, but the added oomph to my seat is definately nice!!
