I order a Ram clutch from summit and the box was all opened when it got here and the disc says valeo on it with purple springs. Is valeo a better brand than Ram or should i send it back. i called and they said their sending me another one but not til wensday next week!

Oh... and if it was swapped out and is the wrong part... how would you know if it was even the right one for a Mustang? Wait for the part you ordered to get there.

Valeo makes most peoples organic clutch disc's. All (or I guess I should say most) of your Ford clutches (stock, or FRPP) are from Valeo. Most likely, Valeo made the disk for RAM, or it could possibly be Ram's version of the King Cobra. :)

I have the King Cobra clutch in my car, and it says Valeo on the disc. After 40000 miles it still holds strong and feels great, and I am by no means easy on it. Even Valeo's stock replacement clutches that you can get at good part stores are better than stock.
