Coming here from the classic Mustang world, looking to gain some knowledge while I search for a modern Stang for my GF, I have located a 2006 GT Premium vert, black on black, manual trans, 12,200 miles. Owner is asking $15,900 is this a fair price? I'm considering offering 14,500.

Dunno if it's fair, but here's my experience:

Last year, I bought a 2005 GT Premium vert, red on black, automatic trans, about 60,000 miles, for my wife. The dealer was asking about $15,000; I ended up paying around $14,000.

If it makes a difference, I'd do it again in a heartbeat. The car has been absolutely wonderful. Also, I'm in the Midwest, specifically Indiana, for cost-of-living adjustment purposes.

I own an 06 GT manual. I bought it about six month ago...It has over 100k miles and I couldn't get it under 10$ It seemed anything less than...say...70k- 65k miles price just shoots up from my experience so 12,200 miles? For an 06? That's almost unheard of...those are low miles! 14,500? Yeah, I would, especially if the Stang is all togeather. Man, they didn't drive the car much? What's the deal with that?

Prices have held I got my 05 gt in 2010 with 14k miles for 16000. it's at 90k now and worth 10k. if you can scoop up at 06 I'd say that's fair and they are fairly reliable minus the usual problems but I have never had a major issue with my car I would go ahead and swap out the 2 peice plugs for one piece.
