Valve Chatter

Hey guys, Whenever I am driving and I give it a little gas I hear a chattering noise coming from the top of my engine. When I use 91 octane it almost disappears completely. Whats the problem? Could my timing be off, and would a Steeda Timing Adjuster fix it? Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like your timing is too advanced. The best fix would be to use premium gas that way you could keep your timing advanced and continue to benefit from the increased power that advanced timing gives you.

Dang timing, I thought it was too advanced. I guess that would be the best thing to do since I am getting a little more power. Thanks for the reply

i would run the 91+ octane or turn the timing back down.
