Isn't an '84 351 a flat-tappet motor? A E-303 cam is a hydraulic roller cam. Has the block been converted to a roller block? If so, what parts were used and what are the rockers on top?
A hydraulic roller motor with stock rockers and a mild cam should run near silent.
