I'm working on finishing up my Vortech install and just want to confirm with the experts on here that I'm ok with doing this. The kit comes with a filter and hoses to re-route the breather tube from the valve cover to the intake pipe instead of into the throttle body. I'm going to be running a MSPNP and the car will be speed density instead of MAF, so can I just use a vented breather cap instead?

correct but you also want to run a

  • turbo coupe PCV valve
  • an open breather element to vent crankcase pressure
