Hi All,
Does anyone reccomend capping off the vent tube on the oil filler of the valve cover? I just got new valve covers and Systemax intake, and was wondering if I could cap off the vent from the Throttle body to the filler neck?
Thanx:flag:

OK, I will leave it connected then :)
I was just concerned that the new valve covers I got from Anderson did not have a baffle in them, and I did not want to be pulling oil out and into the intake???
Will it be ok connected w/ these valve covers??
Thanx

On my TFS valve covers I had to drill a hole for the oil fill/vent tube to go into. To drill the 1 1/8(I believe but don't quote me on that) hole I used a rubber band around the valvecover to find the spot between the pairs of rockers. That way there shouldn't be any oil squirting into the fill tube. So far so good.

Yes, although I am not using TFS covers (I am using Andersons polished Alum. cvrs) I called TFS and they explained what you wrote. They seemed to feel that a baffle was not necessary, but you could if you felt the need. I was gonna install the baffle from my stk covers (that I modified when I had 1.7 rr's) in the new covers, but won't if it is not necessary and no oil will be "pulled" out.
THANX
