Valve Lift??

on a cam with an advertised lift of .542 int. and exh. if using 1.6 rockers instead of 1.7 how much does the lift change?

.542" lift divided by (current roller rocker) 1.7 = .319" Lift at the Lobe.

.319 Lift at the lobe multiplied times new desired roller rocker (1.6) = .510" lift.

Duration will also take a small hit...

Lift doesn't determine much. At peak lift the piston is near 2.00" down in the bore...

Check for p-v clearance...
