before i take a part my motor has n e one put 2.02 1.60 valved heads on a 87-92 5.0 ho motor if so what was the clearance can i still run the ford b cam with this please help my heads are edelbrock rpm's
You will most likely have problams. TFS heads rotated the valves to match the factory notches. All others are inline and will need clearance checked.
There are TFS heads that are "inline". That would be the TFS Twisted Wedge... the heads I believe you are refering to?
Actually the TFS heads have rotated valves and due to that design they allow the 2.20 intake valve. The factory pistons are made for a inline valve head.
Thats what I said.
From my understanding, Rick was stating that the inline heads are meant for the stock inline pistons. Trickflow has rotated valves that do not go "inline" with the pistons.
Quote from Jay Allen (Camshaft Innovations)A TFS TW head is an in-line head.
With no side cant, as long as the stems are together, they are in-line. Just the TFS TW has a rotated chamber.
