Hey guys so I’ve got the heads on and am starting to put the rockers and pushrods! I measured the pushrod length by tightening the rocker my hand and then expanding the checker to zero lash, did I do it right?! It is the exact same length as the stock pushrods that I have. I’m going to be reusing the stock pedestal rockers and am having doubts about the sweep since it’s pretty wide, is that how the stock ones are meant to be?! The left one is a little off but I misaligned the rocker
(Left is pushrod, right is adjuster to zero lash)
I want to try and get this done by new years and will only be able to work on it this weekend and next.

Also any chance anyone can send me a picture of the brackets and accessories in the front, I forgot where some of them go and forgot to take pictures, I have a 91 GT with AC and deleted smog

Need more info. I assume these are stock heads? Stock cam? You really can't check pushrod length with you current valve springs installed. You need light checker springs.

If your sweep is close ( contact on the valve stem by rocker?) I think a good valve train geometry is much more important.... You can see this when hand cranking with the valves adjusted...
I also prefer more " tightening turns" for street use...... 3/4 to 1 turn VS 1/4 to 1/2 turns..... The less turns give you a noisier lifter has been my experience...
