OK quick question
If i put a new cam in my 5.0 do i HAVE to change valve springs, valves and other components? or is it just soemthing that is better for the engine?
Depends on a few things... mainly the mileage of the current springs.
My thoughts: If the cam is too radical for stock springs (assuming) there is a great possibility that they will fatigue and fail causing a lot of damage. You can do it, but just be carefull about where you shift and how hard you run the car.
ok well i just abught a bunch of new stuff but got the wrong springs so im just gona return them get teh right ones cause i dont wanto ruin a newly build engine thanks MUCH!
