Vandalized....

Well last night there was a big storm... I woke up the last few nights at like 2:30 am and for some reason I had to go look at my car. Every time I thought there was sure alot of shadows around it but thought nothing more of it...

This morning I get up to go to work and get out to my car and I see glass all over the side of my car and my drivers (I park on the street) mirror is smashed... the whole plastic cover and everything... All I can say now after settling down is, I'm glad thats all they did.

An odd thing is I have a plastic model I painted of my car and it's mirror fell off last night at some point, which I find insanely creepy!!!

Well it's off to the wreckers tomorrow to see what I can get a mirror assembly for.

IT SUCKS... on a side note I wish I would find out who did that here so I can cut their faces off and feed it to some dogs...

All this world is coming to is disrespect, if I want it and you have it I'll either take it or break yours... Rediculous...

Sorry to hear that man - some people just have no class...

I woke up Saturday morning to find all my windows covered with profanity and some interesting drawings - all in black permanent marker. First time I've had to leave my car out at night in about two years and look what happens! Luckily thats all they did - and it was easy enough to clean up with some brake cleaner...but I still can't understand why doing that (or breaking off a mirror) is somebody's idea of fun.

Try gluing the plastic mirror back to your model car....then when you go out side your car will be good a new .

I was back in S'toon for July long and is it just me or is Saskatoon turning into a hole? I mean, it almost looked as bad as Regina..

I don't know, but it sure felt that way...

I've had the badges ripped off my dad's F-150 in the Kelsey parking lot, but that's about the extent of my experience with vandals (knock on wood).

Hope you can get it fixed quickly.. Maybe time for some painted ones?

i'm sorry to hear about what happened. i'm glad you still have your car though. i wouldn't want to hear of or see a beautiful car get stolen, let alone vandalized.

I did pick up a new mirror, it was $70. And it is in my hands now... well tool box but close enough (so that is less then what I would have payed thru ebay and I wouldn't have seen it for at least a week and a half, thanks for the idea though Darkshadow).

Hotmustang: I was also thinking of what would happen if I glued the mirror back on the model... but I doubt anything would have happened.

I was thinking of how they would look painted and I think it stands out more with the black ones they contrast more that way.

Hopefully there is no more of this...

I am looking into possibly getting a video camera for my house. My dad picked one up recently for something to do with his work and It was pretty reasonable. It wasn't for night, but it was really nice. Wireless, motion activated camera with good picture quality for like about 50 bucks from best buy If I remember. It just links right up to your computer and you can even monitor it from anywhere. Not sure what the night time ones run but Im gonna go look into this soon. I have already had my car vandalized twice and Im sick of it.
