After I drive her for two or three hours she dies like she is running out of gas. Then I wait twenty minutes or so and she will start right back up. From what I know you cant get vapor lock on fuel injection engines. I am running true dumps. I was wondering if you think my fuel lines could be getting to hot because of this? Thanks

I haven't heard of a vapor lock problem in a long time. It use to knock many of road race cars out of the race. It could be as you suspected, with your exhaust from the dumps heating up the fuels lines. The fuel filter heating and the tank itself may be heating up the fuel.

It could be a number of things, could also be hall effect sensor in distributor as well, they act up when they get hot. without some tests it would be hard to guess.

Ive seen tons of dumps installed with no problems, as long as they are installed correctly i would question whether it was them causing a problem. unless its actually touching the fuel line.

Id check the fuel system over and give the ignition some scrutiny, if you are unsure about how this works get your money ready. There isnt anything you can do if you dont know how to test things.
