Venom 400 control module... does it work?

Anyone ever use one of these? i dont have a chip or anything right now so is this thing worth the 299$ (summitracing) again its the venom control module. ive seen it in summit, not sure where else sells it. thanks in advance

yeah they work but you can do the same thing cheaper. adjust the tps voltage, bump the timing, and add some fuel pressure

haha ok, so i see that since i already have my timing advanced, and my FP up, and my tps at .99 i wont gain ****. Thanks guys.

I got mine for $250 from JC Whitney with the discount... I really cannot tell much difference - I alreay have timing at 14.5*, bumped fuel pressure, TPS at .98, etc... too

be careful because my car had a pos chip on it when i bought it and we didnt know...and advanced the timing manually. well lets just say that the chip already advanced the timing to about 14* and than we advanced it more and it was running like crap.

Yeah you won't gain anything. You already have the equivalent of a chip. Mine was running like crap when I bought if from my buddy and it turns out that when he had the mass air conversion done, the idiots at the shop put the SD chip back in the mass air computer and when they couldn't get it to run they advanced the timing to like 17 or something. I almost had a heart attack when I was putting in my A9P and discovered this. Needless to say the problem has been fixed and I run bumped timing with higher pressure. Just thought I'd share.
