I think the Cobra or Bullitt kits will give you the most bang for your buck and they are very simple bolt-ons. You can get new front kits from $550 to $650 from this outfit. http://www.discbrakesrus.com/make/ford/mustanggtff.htm . Don’t get the Cobra/Bullitt style two piston PBR calipers that have the word “Saleen” on them, as Saleen never sold this kit. The company just sticks Saleen’s name on the calipers. Lame. 
Not that it does you any good now but Saleen was selling their four piston Brembo kits for $999.99 at the car show Saturday. That is a good price.
