My 65 has a Versailles rear axle. I recently swapped out my extended spring shackles for some that put it back at stock ride height. I noticed that now the driverside rear shock seems really close to the brake line / breather hose on the axle housing. There only seems to be about 1/8 inch or space between them. Has anyone encountered this before? If I drive the car, is it going to hit?

I also have a Versailles rear but i cant tell how much space is between the brake line or the breather hose. Maybe i could take a look or take a picture of the situation on my car before i go on my holiday to the usa but i dont know if i have enough time to visit the garage where the mustang stands. I will try to find some time...

Thanks for the tip. I already saw your response to my thread on the other forum. I tried that today, and it looks like it may have done the trick.

That short line to the driver side doesn't allow much movement, but I think I got it rotated far enough. We'll see Saturday evening when I take it out for cruise night.
