Hello,

The car in question is an '04 vert (not my car so I haven't really looked at it because I don't have much access to it).

The PW switches for the rear windows are acting up (intermittantly functioning). Are the switches a known problem? Has anyone taken them apart and cleaned the contacts?

Switches are a little pricey so I wanted to try and repair the switch first. Any thoughts are welcome.

Thank you.

Are you sure that it isn't the rubber trim on the rear windows catching when the window is trying to go down? I have that problem with my driver's side rear window. The rubber on the window is eaten up and when it tries to go down it catches on the body weather trim and hangs up. Nothing wrong with the switch.
