Vert top rattles above my head over bumps...

Any way to deal with this? Its kinda anoying and happens a lot...

I had the same problem. Check the two holes w/plastic bushings on the windshield frame that the two chrome metal pins go into when the top is up. The bushings are probably worn out and the metal pins are hitting the metal windshield frame. Replace those bushings or rig up a hard plastic sleeve like I did. Good luck.

Vert tops rattle... that is just the way it is...

Mine rattles also, it's just one of the many things you have to deal with having a vert. I've heard that the metal pins also come loose occasionally, so check those while you're at it.

try adjusting the latches (metal hooks) that connect the top to the header.

I am thinking about removing my headliner on my vert so that I can see if there is anything I can adjust or tighten under there...

I have a '98 with only 62K on the "O"... No probs yet... check the plastic bushings for a refresh of your vert.
