VHT vs. Duplicolor for header paint?

Hello,
I have used VHT high heat black on my headers and I really don't like the flat black look. when at the local oreilley's, I saw a can of duplicolor high heat exhaust paint in silver, so I bought it. I tested it on a scrap piece of exhaust and I like the way it looks, not really chalky or flat like the VHT black. Question is, how is the performance compare? The VHT holds up great, but I would like to switch to the duplicolor but don't want it to peel or flake (read: look bad after 1000 miles). Has anyone used either of these products with good results?

Never tried the Duplicolor, but you know VHT makes high temp paint in a few different colors right?

Also, you could look at a do it yourself ceramic coating which will be more expensive but will produce a much better result. Check out this website: http://columbiacoatings.com/

Yeah but I kind of prefer the duplicolor sheen over the vht coating's flat finish. is there another method to get that kind of finish?

Even when it is designed for high heat, I've never seen painted headers look good for any amount of time.

My dad tried the Eastwood silver header paint and it peeled off after a few hundred miles.

Go with the ceramic HTC...you'll be glad you did.
