Hi guys, I just had jba shorty headers installed on my 07 Mustang GT. I now have a vibration at 3000-3200 RPM. It does this on and off the throttle. It didnt do this before the header install. Has anyone else expirienced this problem? I've heard it might be the stock delete plates opening and closing?! Any ideas would be awesome. Thanks, Chris:lol:

With my JBA longtubes I had a slight vibration at times.I found one of the down tubes chattering against the transmission bell housing out on the end near the housing bolts on the driver's side. I stuffed a flat washer in between the pipe and the bell housing to eliminate it. When I pull the tranny out again for whatever reason I'll grind a small flat spot on the bell housing to aid in clearance.

check the hangers on the h-pipe also. The headers may have caused it to shift forward enough so that the hanger is touching the bracket. a little notch in the bracket will take care of it if this is the case. good luck.

that is a classic case of stupid aftermarket companies who make ***** that doesn't fit. a "bolt-on" part for a new car shouldn't need to be "clearanced." esoecially when you pay $600 for a set of headers. ugg. . .
