Vibration at 70-90 MPH....

Have this odd problem..

Have an 05 Auto w/30k Miles

Oddly enough, I have been getting this bad vibration at around 60+ MPH.. I feel it in the floorboards, and the passenger seat rattles or vibrates to the point where it makes a noise..

I also about a month ago got new 18" Rims and tires..


Anyone else experience this problem?

Could this be caused by poorly or out of balance rims/tires??

that would be be my guess. sometimes those stick on lead weights can be difficult to get balanced properly, if in fact thats what u have

Yes, check the tires. Had the same problem on another car. After about 70 the wheel would shake and you could feel it on the floor. One tire was out of balance. Also, if whoever installed the wheels tightened the wheels down too much they could have warped a rotor.
