vibration in interior

A something wasn't installed right

B everything was right, but somethings wrong with the clutch

C... By engage you mean when you press the pedal down yeah?

I actually had a guy do it for cheap, won't go that route again. The only reason I did it is because at the time I didn't have the money. Next time i'll just go to Ford.

Ford quoted me $500 for the OEM clutch and $80/hr for labor @ 8 hrs:notnice:, I dont know how they can justify that. Anyway I payed $250 for the install(clutch, flywheel, tranny service) at a local shop. Mine vibrates and rattles also but thats cause I need motor mounts, it was like that with the old clutch also. You only hear it when the car is stopped and the clutch is not engaged. She shifts great though and the pedal feel is awsome(CF DF clutch, Fidanza AL flywheel.)

I had my clutch replaced in the not too recent past by a shop. As soon as I started it the car shook quite a bit with even moderate engine RPM. I shut it off, walked back into the store and told them to re-do it. They um'd and ah'd but I insisted, telling them about the only way a new clutch could vibrate this bad is if it was installed without dowels installed in the flywheel, certainly possible if the flywheel was resurfaced and the dowels were removed but not put back in afterwards.

When I got it back, they acknowledged the missing dowels and the car was smooth as butter again.
