I can feel this vibrating through the shifter when I drive the car, seems to be when im slowing down. Anyone know what this could be, Ujoints???

btw i just put in a new tranny, clutch, pilot bearing, and throwout bearing.

also, how do you adjust the clutch, or is it self adjusting?

Sounds like it but before you go replacing the u-joints, check to see if the d/s was re-installed correctly.

I like Paul's idea (though there are a lot of variables given the work you just did). Did you index the DS before removing (and upon installing) it?

The U-joints really should be inspected when the DS is out for a clutch job (not a rip there- just for future reference).

If you have the stock quadrant and pawl, you can pull up on the clutch pedal to adjust the freeplay.
