vibrations under acceleration and over 3k

my car seems to get a vibrations i can feel in the shifter and in the seat. just cruising you cant feel it, but under WOT and once it gets over about 3000rpm it starts shaking. anything under 3k, like cruising in 4th or 5th at low rpm it rides smooth as ever, but like in 1st,2nd, 3rd and 4th gear under WOT it shakes and vibrates

just over 3k or so is when it virbrates.

have had any time to do any diagnostics but could you guys give me some ideas so i know where to start

the car has an Alum DS and its fairly new and i dont think thats the problem, i had previous vibrations that i fixed with the ALUM so i doubt thats it.

Doesn't sound like a D/S problem, usually those come in at certain speeds at certain gears. Check the balancer first, make sure its snug and the rubber is still good. Could POSSIBLY be the bearing that the yoke of the D/S goes into in the tranny, but I doubt it. Just go over everything that rotates and make sure it didn't come loose.

the bearing that the yoke goes into?? could you elaborate, you sort of confused me.

i drove it today, and noticed that the vibrations come on about 3100-3200 and STOPS at like 3900 and it smooths out and the vibrations stop just in that 700-800 rpm range it vibrates.

Check your driveshaft bolts.

drove it again today and payed real close attention to it,

its not in that rpm range its more like focused at like 3500 rpm right in that area is when it vibrates. and it does just revving up with the clutch in. that tells me its probably the balancer.

could be that you've lost a couple of wheel weights and that's causing your problem?

my tires are out of balance but i can feel the vibration with the just sitting still revving it up. nothing to do with tires

i need to get tires balanced anyways lol
