Does anyone know what is the story with pro comp heads? They are claiming to offer a head similar to victor jr's for under 500 and are fully cnc machined. I was wondering if anyone has run them or knows why they can offer them so cheap. Here is a link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PRO-...emQQcategoryZ33617QQitemZ7995284855QQtcZphoto

don't know much about them. But they are bare, and they do hit you with the extras, so I would imagine by the time your done, you will be close to the same price. They seem like a good flowing head, but correct me if i'm wrong, i think the AFR165s flow close to as much as those.

Wouldn't they still be considerably less than the Edelbrocks if you chose to take the "extras" they offer in that auction? I seem to remember the victor jr's being around $1200+ assembled...........

For flow tests, refer to this or one of the other similar sites like it.

I'm interested in hearing some more opinions on these cheaper heads as well....if they perform as well as the Victor Jr.'s, then these could make for a pretty mean budget built motor.

If they were close to edelbroch it seems like a good budget/performace upgrade......I guess my concern would be if they are able to last. Has anyone purchased these yet?

I guess I am curious if they are less expensive becuase they are made cheaper, or are most heads standard. I am very looking for good heads that flow well, but the cost is always a big factor. Just interested to see what others thought.
