i have a 98 gt convertible. it just rolled over 60k and when i first got it i was cleaning the engine and discovered that it had "last one" written in white on the inside of the passenger side head! i asked the dealer i got it from and they said they received it from a retired ford employee! is there anyway to track it by vin #?
can anyone help me find out if this a cruel joke or what? the vin is

you have an extremely late build date. the car is too old to pull OASIS, but on my lookup it shows the buidl date as 10Sep1998.

I COULD also of been the last 98 gt romeo motors built that year as well... But that is a VERY late build date.... Could very well be the last one made. I don't think Ford kept track of that... They may of, It would be worth checking into.

Even if it was the last '98 GT built, what would you do with it? Stop driving a 60K mile car and stick it in a garage for 10 years until it's an antique and then slap some made up dollar value on it?
