You could probably get a bright yellow vinyl to wrap your car with. I know a ton of guys on the BMW side of things that wrap their cars. It pretty much acts as a barrier to protect the paint anyway (assuming the paint is worth protecting, unlike mine).

Any thoughts on plasti-dip? Not sure of the color range but it might be another option. Sure looks easy to do.

A friend was showing/telling me about plasti dip, apparently if you want to buy by the gallon there's a multitude of colors. Something like that, he referenced colors like purple metallic silver, crystal white. I'd look into it. Pretty neat.

i'm sure it would work but my thoughts are that it won't be that deep shine look and it also from what i understand will be unable to be waxed/polished.

There is a new paint system called "Dip your Car" you should look into. It's becoming really popular here. People are painting Lambo's, Viper's, Skylines with this. When you don't want it on anymore you peel it off. The beauty part not only does it peel off but it's not expensive at all. We are painting a 2010 Honda Fit here at work soon. I'll take pics. I'm doing my DD rims in gun metal soon as well. The rim kits are $50 and to paint an entire car with gun and everything is under $300.

The "Dip Your Car" paint system is nothing more than Plasti Dip. I have been using Plasti Dip for years with great success, although I have never painted an entire car with it. I say go for it.
