how can i tell the difference between the 4 cylinder brakes and the v8 brakes. i have a parts car that i was told used to be a factory v8 but the booster looks the same as my 89 4 cylinder
The 4 cyl rotors are smaller in diameter, more like 10" than 11" in the V8 cars. The spindle strut mount is thicker on the 4 cyl cars (about 1") vs about 5/8" on V8 cars. Plus the VIN should have an E in the 8th position for a V8 car.
