I'm thinking they are just C&L meters sold by Vortech.
Summit has them for only $125. This seems to be the best deal I have found yet on air meters. Should I do this? I think it would be a welcome addition to my engine.
Opinions?
Thanks

So is this a good price on a good meter?
Or should I look for something else?

I was wondering about that too. Real cheap, hmm if Vortech sells them to add to their kits seems like they would be worth having, correct? I dont know the answer but maybe someone else will fill us in. Well at least I will put it up top for ya.

I have a C&L 73mm meter that was bought by a buddy for his car back in 1996. On the underside of the meter is a Vortech "V" logo on it. Vortech meter and C&L meter = same thing IMO.

I've been thinking about going to one my self, but the people at the performanceshop tell me that since they work off of you original meter sensor and just trick the sensor by the venturi tube that they don't do as well as programmed meters. They said that the idle wouldn't be as good of a quality. I'd like to know from people that have them because I am really interested as well.

don't get a C&L!!!!!! if your gunna get one get a pro-M type, i found this out the hard way and lost a bit of moola in the process. for 30 bucks more you can get a damn good pro-m and it'll work much better. My C&L has only caused probs, just look around on the forums you'll see what i mean... (my thoughts, tryen to look out for others) Some pp have had good experiences don't get me wrong, but i don;t liek to do to many things that involve "tricking" my computer..

I have the 80mm and if you do have a problem just clock the meter and it will do fine. It is like everything in the performance business that some have problems and others don't.
