how can i install the supercharger without having to use my smog pump? I've had my smog pump off for awhile now, but the instructions show using it.

You're probably going to need a smog pump delete kit. Basically what it is is an idler pulley and bracket that sits in the smog pump's stock location.

I got a chrome altenator "J" channel from Advance Auto for about $10. Bolted it to the blower bracket and and the slot part of it to the top of the altenator. If running a stock altenator, you may have to clearance it some for the stock alt cooling fan. Ran into that problem when in stalling aPowerdyne on a buddies car with the stock altenator. Didin't have to do that on my car with the 130 amp altenator..

just use a dead pulley or get a shorter belt from vortech.........which ever is cheaper.
