Ive ordered everything from SuperchargersOnline.com :: Home :: Superchargers and supercharger accessories by Vortech, Paxton, Whipple, ProCharger and much more! and it should be here tomorrow. I havent gotten my injectors or fuel pump yet though. Do you think I would be able to drive it if i stay out of boost? It's my only car and i know im not gonna want to wait to install it. please let me know or anything that i could do to help it out.

I would wait. Why install it if you are going to stay out of boost? Just do it right the first time with the right parts. Good luck man!

Dude, I'm so jealous... I'd wait though. And if you need an extra hand when you do the job, just give me a holler and I can come help out!

I know i should wait but im just gonna have these parts on hand and i might as well put it on if i have time. I just wanna make sure that i could still just run the stock stuff without going into boost untill i get the fuel pump and injectors. I really dont abuse my car anyways so i dont think it would be a problem fro me to stay out of the boost for a couple of weeks.

Well I see where you're coming from... You wanna have as much finished as you can by the time the rest of your parts arrive so you can just slap them on and complete the setup. Makes sense. It's your call. Not a bad plan... if you honestly believe you can avoid boost for a whole two weeks.

Yeah I would because i know what the consequences would be if i hit boost. It's called needing a new motor.. My bros probably gonna help me with the install, but if i need an extra hand i will definetly give you a call.

Haha, or if anything I can just come and watch. We gotta go for a drive when it's done. I've never ridden in a blown GT.

So I called Vortech about driving the car with out a tune. He said as long as i keep it below around 3500rpm the blower wont be building any boost so it would be safe to drive. Gonna start the build tonight when i pickup the parts

Just remeber, when your not allowed to do something (i.e. get your foot into it) the more your going to want to do it.

I will defintley put up some pics. For all the stuff that I have now im around $1,800. Pretty cheap but i still ned to get a few more things so. I would probably have everything on there and done for $2,400. Pretty cheap compared to buying a brand new kit and being able to chose my injectors, fuel pump, maf and etc.

I dont think I made it two blocks before I hit redline. It only takes a day to put it on so why put it on before you get the rest of the parts? Its not like you can use it till you get the tune and stuff. All you are doing is giving your engine the chance to blow up. But its your choice. I got my maf and injectors and base tune from jms chip and performance center, you might want to give them a look before you purchase. And Speedfreaks in tracy were the ones who custom tuned my car. What a difference a custom tune makes.
