I am installing an S trim on my car. The motor is stock except for a Performer intake, BBK throttle body, headers and exhaust. I decided to install 42lbs. injectors and 90mm Lightning MAF along with the Vortech. My questions are: I will not need the FMU, correct? Should I use the T-Rex pump along with the stock pump or is it better to go ahead and replace the in tank pump? Thanks for your help!

you will need the fmu unless you get a custom tune or a programmer of some sort, I would upgrade your tank pump to at least a 190 but for the extra couple of bucks get the255 youdont wanna cheese out on the fuel thats how you can blow stuff up

i am using the t-rex with my 255lph intank and 42's. no fmu. that is more than enough fuel. a custom tune is a must with a power adder though.

I used the 190lph from BBK and ran out of fuel at 4800rpms.with the 42lb injectors. So go with the 255 without the FMU.

Hi
I have 42#'s with a 225 in tank and using the t-rex in line, and no fmu, custom tune. As said before you should be fine. Use the fmu if you don't custom tune , (which I don't suggest) get it tuned. Well I just reread what you posted you must have a custom tune with the Lightning maf get it retuned!!
