8 psi boost safe on a stock bottom end?? My lower intake has been done by Tmoss, I have thumper E7 heads and E cam, shorty headers, off road x pipe and bassani exhaust, Just making sure I'll be ok with a Vortech S trim.

you'll be pushing it. i've seen guys throw tons of boost and get away with it, and others blow it up on the second pass. if you baby it and save the engine you'll be fine for a while

Assuming you have a good running motor already with good compression then if you run 8psi, have adequate fuel, and get a good tune, I don't see why that wouldn't be a good combo with a stock block. Obviously, how you drive it will affect the longevity of the block.

I was just curious, my stock bottom end has a fresh rebuild, it only had 75,000 miles on it when we redid it, was running fine when rebuilt, just went thru it while we had it out. The car is a daily driver for the most part with some occasional hot rodding in the summer. Not drove much in the winter at all. The biggest question of all is, would you get the regular version or the super quiet version?

I opted for the 6 psi kit, I had my heart set on a kenne bell but they are too damn expensive, I'll use the extra cash I saved for some drag radials and a dyno tune :)
