In the near future I will be purchasing a vortech supercharger (w/out intercooler). I have been looking at the 4VFL218-050(S/SQ). I would like the supercharger whine but am worried about it being to loud after awhile. If any one could tell the difference in sound between these two trims. And if you have had these models, our you happy. Thanks

v-1 = louder
SQ = temporarily quieter

(due to internal gear shape)

I have the V-2 S trim and I don't think the whine is loud at all. I love the way it sounds. It's like it's talking to me....c'mon gun it! You know you want to!

Has anybody ran a snowball performance cooler, or heard and stories of people who have. I stopped by dealer of vortech and they had a 01 GT come in and get a Vortech supercharder w/out intercooler and dynod at 378 rwhp, after installing the snowball performance cooler and adjusting timing, he was dynod at 410 rwhp. Let me know what you think
