Vortech supercharger information/help

I found a person who is selling a Vortech S trim sq and it has about 15,000 miles on it. Can anyone tell me what I need to look for (impeller wobble etc.) to make sure the unit is good or is working properly. I have 30 lb injectors and steeda underdrive pullies. Do I need to get bigger injectors or change my underdrive pullies back to stock? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had to take the pullies on mine when the Supercharger was installed. As for the injectors, i would go for the highest flow rate that you can , using whatever electronics you have . 42lb ers seem to be the norm these days and are a decent price. I can,t remember the formula for working out how many pounds per HP a Supercharged engine needs , i do know that my 36lb ers are close to being maxed out for flow rates V horse power . Better to have a little too much than a little less. As for the Supercharger , hopefully someone else can chime in .

Fuel Injector Calculator from WitchHunter Performance

This is a nice way to estimate what your fuel needs are. If you're looking at 450hp, supercharged, change the bsfc to .6 and it estimates that you'll need 42.18lb/hr to feed your fuel need :nice:
