HI guys,

I was planning on getting a Vortech Supercharger, just a small one like the SC-Trim because I just want about 5-6psi of boost on this bad boy. I was wondering if I did get one would I have to get bigger injectors and a T-Rex pump as well? Or will my current set-up support the SC trim, not sure if it comes with an FMU though or if I will need one?

What do you guys think?

Your 255lph in-tank pump will be fine. You won't need the t-rex inline. However, those 24lbers aren't gonna get the job done. You'd need at least 30's. If you buy a complete kit, it will come with an fmu but i'm not a fan of them. If you want to do it right, get bigger injectors and a calibrated MAF to match.

If I upped the injectors to 30-36 and sent my Pro-M meter back to get it calibrated then that is it for the set-up and I will not need the FMU? I am thinking 36lb injectors then?

i don't see how ppl can say you save gas w/ a supercharger, if you have to put such big injectors on there - they say you will gain MPG daily driving w/ ur foot out of the throttle, but it sucks it down whne you gun it

I run 12lbs of boost with 36's and a 255lph intank pump. I had a BBK pump, same as a TRex, and I didn't need it. I still have it in a box. I do, however, have a rising rate, or boost sensitive, fp regulator that gives the engine an extra lb of fp for every lb of boost....just to be safe.
