I have a thought with the low boost, other than the probable slippage that is happening. How do you know this is an Sc-trim? It "looks" like it's been on there for a while, could be an A-trim? You'd have to remove the coupler on the inlet to tell but it's a possibility as they don't make much boost. Just a thought.
For what it's worth, I had the trickflow top end kit with an A-trim at 10psi, the car made 450whp/425wtq. A piston let go a few months later. Short block only had 75k miles on it. Could've been tune, could've been a "weak" piston. Just giving you my experience for reference.
I too had the same setup and made 435 with an a Atrim at 7.5psi

No I appreciate that info. It is an SC trim. I called vortech and gave them the serial and thats what they said. Thats what I was looking for with the info on running the small block with the sc and trick flow upper. I am gonna upgrade the pulley setup though. EVERYWHERE I have read said the 6 rib setup is just destined to fail.
8 rib is honestly the way to go and there is no doubt that you may have a belt slip issue. The 8 rib upgrade is a great place to start and you might want to look at an upgraded tensioner as well. While it is possible that the bypass valve is leaking, i don't see to many of them go bad. If you wanted to cover all your bases, replace the bypass valve first as it is only a 35$ or so part.
and while your at it get the anderson belt adjuster . It will constantly keep pressure on the tensioner and makes belt adjustment a breeze

What he said! Great little piece and a must for the Vortech! I remember when I bought one for my SSC more than 10 years ago for $25. LOL
If you decide to purchase one of these, I have a friend that makes them locally and sells them cheaper than AFM.
Send me a PM and I'll give you his number.
So I have a great little piece to to my dilemma for you guys. You guys should all get a kick out of this one. A freaking plug wire was not connected!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just dangling away..

I know I know!! Lol. Getting alignment at the performance shop and my guy calls me up and says I think I know why you aren't getting the boost you want from your charger. You were running on 7 cylinders!! Lmao. I mean I was a little confused about all the hype of the super chargers after hooking mine up. First time I've ever dealt with one. I was like meh. Can't wait to get it back now.

Here's another question I have. Sometimes when I'm rollin up to a stop sign or sitting with the car on wherever, the voltage bogs down like its about to die. I kinda only notice it after the car has warmed up a little? I may be wrong about that part but that's when I notice it happening. Is there anything that it most likely is or is there a list of stuff I'm gonna need to run through to figure it out.
