Hi guys,
I recently installed a V2 on my '01 GT and when I looked back at the manual to help a friend with his installation, I was still confused about the washers position.
In figure 8.2D (attached picture), they display what they call a air conditionning silencer bracket. There was no part looking like this on my car, isn't it instead the wiring harness support bracket on '00 GTs only?
Here is a picture...
#1: I installed a 10mmx0.06 washer beetween the bracket and the timing cover
#2: I didn't install anything beetween the bracket and the timing cover
#3: I didn't install anything beetween the bracket and the timing cover
