Vortech w/aftercooler ?

I am leaning towards this supercharger system but i just have a few questions?

First, will i be able to drive long distances like from Michigan to St.Louis?

Second, will i have to get a custom chip because of my gears, stall, and shift kit?

We've driven from NY To Altanta with noooo problems on one car so the long distance reliability is just as good as stock. The tune itself will depend on what you want out of the car. Just try to sift through the eventual BS thats going to make its way into this thread and try doing a search on a few of the things that are gonna get brought up and you'll find tons of info on everything mentioned. The aftercooler will eventually heat up and not be of as much use as a air to air intercooler however, so you may want to consider a vortech with a paxton air to air. The aftercooler should rock for just track duty though. Less boost loss than the paxton and you can ice that bad boy down.

So your saying the aftercooler isnt worth the 1,000 dollar difference in the price.
