VSS Removal

Has anyone with a 94/95 Mustang removed the VSS signal to the ECU? I wanted to know if it worked, and where you disconnected (at the ECU or at the sensor). I am tired of the hanging idle between shifts and want to eliminate this problem. I know a fox can do this, but Ive never seen/heard of an SN running w/o their VSS.

VSS as in vehicle speed sensor, if so with it disconected how would you tell how fast your going?????

Im not sure how it is routed. I 'thought' that the signal to the ecu and the signal to the speedometer were seperate.

Do a search on "hanging idle" in this section. All you need to do is reset your idle properly, and keep the IAC valve screw to less then 2 turns, and your hanging idle will go away.
