i am giving up for now. my history is blew up my 39,000 mile 2002 factory longblock from a bad install of VT stage I's.

then i opted to replace blown motor with a 10,000 mile 2002 greenleaf motor. when cams were installed in this ceramic coated LT's & aluminum flywheel were added.

car ran awesome. although i never got to the track in the 2 weeks it ran.......i was able to put 1-2 car lengths on cars running 13.0's.

well in a race with a WS-6 i floated a valve on the 2-3 shift.
car has been down for a couple of months & i am tired of making payments on the car for the last 6 months or so and only driving it 2 weeks.

i was going to install all my mods back onto the motor i am getting along with P&P heads with valve springs........but to be honest i am really scared to do anything...... all the tow bills, motor swaps, parts & down time.............i just want to drive it for awhile.

heres a few things i am debating
1) getting a 04 mach
2) getting a 04 cobra
3) getting a 05 GT
4) driving this for awhile til i get about $7000-$15000 to get a built longblock or built longblock with a turbo.

i am going to be selling the VT stage I's & the ceramic coated hooker LT's & the hooker X-pipe. i am wondering what i should ask for them.

why did cams do this? were they not installed correctly? as for your stuff you should give it all to me for free! j/k assuming your cams are still good and didnt cause all this 2-300, hooker lt's and x pipe 350

The first motor says it was an install problem. On the second engine, my guess is that the factory springs were not replaced. While not required for Stage I cams it is highly recommended. Otherwise, you too could be the lucky recipient of valve float. I'd rather pay the extra $180 for springs the first time and not worry about having to buy another engine.
