VT Install/C&L Question

Well I finally set the date for the install of my VT Stage II N/A Cams, springs and SCT Tune. My question is this…I’ve got a C&L Cold Air kit and MAF….would it make more power or be easier to tune with the stock pieces put back on or not? I hear random stories about the C&L stuff being hard to tune with…

I've had a few friends get their cars tuned with the C&L mass air and their tuners did not have a problem. They make good power so I'd keep it on there.
