Anyone expirience any idle issue,or drivability issue before they got their stangs tuned after they had their Stage II cams installed?
I'm picking up my stang tomorrow, and want to be prepared to what to expect. It will be a few days before i get her tuned. :(

Well i drove her home thursday night, and zero running issues, and even zero idling issues :nice: .A friend of mine that works for SCT got me a tune, and tuned her friday night.Wow.She pulls hard. And the idle, :hail2: .I'm very pleased, just need to find time to get her to a dyno  ,and get some #'s,and to make sure all is well :D .

Right on! Mine idled like sh** before the tune. Surged all over the place and stalled at idle all the time. After the tune now it just hauls ass. Good choice in cams :nice: !

where can you buy the VT STAGE II cams at and how much do they normaly run? what about install? also isnt it a good idea to get rocker arms installed at the same time? how much hp you think rocker arms and this cam would add???

1. Here's the first thing I pulled up. http://modularpowerhouse.com/produc...id=46&osCsid=eecb19755402850c4fef25da25ce0fd6

2. You don't need rocker arms because the 4.6 doesn't have rocker arms. You should upgrade the springs though with and cam over a stage 1. Hell, personally I'd replace the springs no matter what if I was changing cams.

3. The price of the install all depends on the place you have it done. I don't have aftermarket cams so I've never priced it. I'd also most likely do it myself anyway.

4. The HP it adds all depends on the tune after the install. A crappy tune can cause you to see no gains whatsoever while a good tune can net some great results.

cams :hail2: ..... i drive my car a lot.. its an 03 and it has 38,000miles, what would you guys recommend? Stage I's or Stage II VT or Comp Cams?... how much more power would i gain from stage II's and what supposrting mods would i need with each stage?

Mind if I ask how much you guys paid to have your stage 2 cams and valve springs installed?
I really want to get some cams, but i'm affraid the installation cost is gonna postpone this mod :(

I would recommend the stage II's.I don't drive mine everyday as a daily driver, but i don't think you would have a issue.
With a good tune,exhaust,upper plenum,and throttle body,it wouldn't be hard to hit over 290 hp :) .
